Virtual Resource Fair FINAL .jpg

The City of Glendale’s, Community Services & Parks Department’s Youth & Family Services unit will partner with the Glendale Unified School District’s College and Career Division to host a city wide virtual resource fair for high school students.  The virtual resource fair will be held between the hours of 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and include multiple City of Glendale departments and sections. Teens will be provided real time virtual resources and referrals related to the City of Glendale’s, Community Services & Parks Department’s hiring processes, Glendale Fire Cadet Program, Glendale Police Explorer Program, Glendale Youth Alliance Brush Clearance Program, opportunities with Glendale Library, Arts & Culture, Glendale Aquatics employment requirements, employment with the Verdugo Jobs Center, employment with Public Works - Integrated Waste, and the Glendale Community College admission and application process.  Teens will register with a link, and receive an email with log in information to enter the virtual rooms.  At 3:30 p.m., we will have a welcome and introduction for staff attending and contributing to the program. Following introductions, teens will be able to log into multiple virtual rooms they are interested in, and connect directly with professionals in those careers for advice on future employment.

For questions, please call or email John Maghaguian, Community Services Supervisor at (818) 937-7247 or jmaghaguian@glendaleca.gov.
